Proud and historic moment for Sri Lankan students at Mission ShakthiSAT – Phase II* (India Programme), an international STEM leadership, space technology and satellite development programme. Around 200 girls aged 14–18 from 108 countries are participating in this pioneering initiative, working towards a historic experimental satellite mission. Sri Lankan student Musna Mubarak from Al-Mubarak National College, Malwana, and Muhammad Nizam Noori from Kinniya Muslim Women’s College, are among the selected participants. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Dr. Mohamed Fazul Jiffry, PhD – JP, for providing sponsorship, support, encouragement and guidance to help make this rare international opportunity possible for these young students. A meaningful investment in education today can become a giant leap for the future of Sri Lankan girls in STEM and space technology. Mission ShakthiSAT – Phase II (India Programme)
